An authentic Moroccan LILA (An interactive, musical performance and ceremony) led by Gnawa master, Hassan Ben Jaafer with Innov Gnawa was organized in Los Angeles for the very first time in 2017. With the support of the Los Angeles World-music community, African American Artist Association and partnerships with Wanderlust Hollywood, the 5-hour show proved to be a memorable evening of communities coming together to share a rare cultural experience.
